Royal University of Phnom Penh (2020-2024)
After high school graduation in 2020, RUPP is my very first target for bachelor degree education. I start enrolling in RUPP in 2021 during COVID outbreak and everything is conducted online until 2022. My major field is Information Technology Engineering or Software Engineering. I was also an awardee of Computer Science scholarship provided by MOEYS but I decided to withdraw and join to Software Engineering Department. I successfully graduated from RUPP with an engineering degree as a web application developer, front-end engineer and UX/UI designer. Visit school

Studying abroad has always been one of my greatest aspirations in my academic journey. I was honored to be selected and awarded a fully-funded scholarship by the MEKONG-LANCANG Scholarship Committee, facilitated through the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MOEYS), to study at Dali University. Located in Dali City, Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China, this was the first foreign university I had the opportunity to attend. However, the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021 presented unforeseen challenges. Both the Cambodian and Chinese governments closed their borders and suspended flights, requiring me and my fellow scholars to pursue our studies online until late 2023. During this period, the university only offered three popular majors: Clinical Medicine, Business Administration, and Chinese Literature—none of which aligned with my intended field of study. Consequently, I chose Clinical Medicine as a temporary major, with the plan to switch it to Computer Science or Software Engineering once I returned to China. Unfortunately, the situation did not unfold as expected. The university remained closed for over two years. Finally, in September 2023, I received a back-to-school invitation letter and a visa, allowing me to resume my studies in the actual Dali University campus in China. At that time, I was in my fourth year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. That was a tough and unforgettable decision to choose between returning back to China or staying in Cambodia to graduate my Software Engineering degree. And ultimately, I chose to stay in Cambodia for graduation and I withdrew from DALI in September 2023 with Chinese training course and a Clinical Medicine student certification. Visit school

Being a fully-funded sponsorship awardee of KIT is one of the proudest moments and greatest achievements of my academic life. I had dreamt of pursuing a software engineering degree at this institute since high school. It's a Japanese-funded institute of technology in Cambodia and it's one of the best university of technology in my opinion since a lot of talented, and successful developers graduated from here. I never expected to become one of the sponsorship awardees. The selection process included a written examination and two rounds of interviews with professors, all conducted in English, competing against many outstanding and talented students who were also vying for this opportunity. KIT was one of the biggest dream of mine as a tech-enthusiast student, and everything about it seemed perfect that doesn't even need me to think twice about it. However, one clause in the school's contract made me hesitate: the rule that sponsored students are not allowed to transfer to other universities during the four-year program. If a student chooses to do so, they'll have to be reponsible for the action and meet consequences. This was a hard decision for me since I had always wanted and hoped to persue an undergraduate degree abroad if the opportunity arose. Joining KIT (for me) would have meant letting go of my dream of studying abroad and other potential opportunities [Do not get me wrong, the school is great and the contract is also reasonable, it just doesn't align with my goal]. It was tough and heart-breaking to decline one of my most desired scholarships from a favored university, but fortunately, it was the right decision I made, as I later received a scholarship to study abroad. Institute of Technology of Cambodia (2021)
I was one of many students out there who passed the entrance examination to be eligible for school enrollment. Although I did not apply for any scholarships there, I really had a strong interest in ITC during my high school years. It was also such a good experience with the taking of entrance examination, it was fun and memorable. Visit school
